Source: HM Land Registry Price Paid Data
This dataset records every residential property sale in England and Wales.
- Updated monthly - Includes sale price, property type, new build status, and date of transfer
- Averages are calculated from sold prices in the postcode or street
- Historical sales are shown where available

Source: data.police.uk (UK Police)
- Updated monthly
- Shows recorded crimes within a 1 km radius of the postcode centre
- Crime categories follow official police classifications
- Locations are anonymised by the police to protect privacy

Source: Department for Education (DfE) – Get Information About Schools
- Includes school name, type, Ofsted rating (where available), age range, and distance from postcode
- Performance data is taken from the most recent published DfE figures

Mapping Data
Maps are powered by OpenStreetMap and displayed using the Leaflet JavaScript library.

Methodology Notes
- Crime radius: 1 km from the approximate centre of the postcode
- House price averages: Based on actual sold prices (not asking prices)
- School distances: Straight-line (as the crow flies) from postcode centre
- Data is refreshed monthly for prices and crime; school data is updated when new official releases appear
